Coordinates in posts

Due to the fact that there exists a large number of third party sites that legally add and catalog players names and planet locations, we feel that the rule regarding the posting of coordinates are no longer worth while. Because of this, the posting of coordinates in most forums will be allowed, and is no longer a warnable offense.

This effects the following rules:

Board Rules
Removed:

[*] Posting of any Ingame Coordinates.


Hall of Fame Rules
Added the last line here:

- You must post:
  • Only one CR per thread. All follow up attacks must be posted in shorthand form, i.e, only the outcome of the battle.
  • both fleets
  • both fleets after the battle
  • both or non techs
  • both or non co-ords


CR Section Rules
Added the last line here:

No matter which type of report you are posting you must also include:

- A title following the following format: Attacker1[Alliance], Attacker2[Alliance] vs. Defender1[Alliance], Defender2[Alliance]
- Either battle techs for all participants or none at all
- Either co-ords for all participants or none at all

- As a reminder, the Board Rules prohibit posting of any ingame coordinates


Note, posting coordinates in the headhunt sections is still NOT allowed

- Co-ordinates may be shown at '100 System level' only. For example, if you were trading from 1:256:9 you could show your approximate location as 1:2xx:x.
