"oSupport" - The Ticket System

As Fever announced, http://board.ogame.org/thread.php?goto=l…hreadid=230041, the New ticket system is up for Unis 1, 2, 3 and 4, this will - hopefully - improve players contact with the Game Team, meaning that our answers will most probably go back and forth much faster and without using mails at all. :)

This modification to the current system involves a whole lot of changes for us, but we are very interested on your points of view on it. :D

Take into consideration that GameForge had no word on this change and that it is a team implementation, if it doesnt have the results we expect it will be reversed.

i think this would work out great for reasons for moons shot and recycler help alot easier then contact a go by email and everyting so good idea

It seems like this should streamline things for the GOs. You know, get all the questions in one place and whatnot. It also makes it simpler for players-- you don't have to pick one GO to message and then find out that he's on vac mode, etc. etc., you can just stick the little sticky ticky thing up there and get it answered! (By the way, try to call it something other than otickets-- despite GF's non-involvement, it still sounds like another moneymaking scheme :D)

My only criticism is that I want it for Universe 7 too.

I dont care personally. I myself am someone who likes to keep copies of my outgoing emails in 1 spot. Not with a # in a ticket system on some webpage.

I also like the personal contact with a certain GO. With a ticketsystem it goes to all GO's of that Uni.

Plus i just saw the different subjects. Deff needs some improvement there.

Example, not the permission thing but a harvesting-support subject.


And also, IRC does it for me also.

You have some really good points K of Ks. I too like to keep a record of my emails sent and received. And I too like the personal touch between players and GOs.

What I dont like tho, what I really dont like, is when one GO bans a player for something and the player comes back and says "I emailed so-in-so". We cant read each others emails, but we can read each others tickets. With this new system, I think there will be less mistakes, and quicker fixes when mistakes do happen.

You dont have to loose the personal touch (IRC is great for that) and hopefully you will get a quicker turn around time.

Great feedback so far. Keep it coming guys. I am hoping this really takes off, but we can surely tweek it here and there. :)

I like it. Nice interface and easy to use. Will it give the Game Ops a better interface to work with as well? I remember what a pain it was to wade through all the erectile disfunction e-mail spam to read a players message.

Overall a nice job. Hopefully it'll make it easier for everyone.

Something I thought of, but, a message back saying to figure it out to several people, or ignoring it, might work ^^ lol

You should make uni 22 one of the test unis :P Still sounds good, possible tweaking is fine though, seeing as you guys are looking at the suggestions is a very good sign ^^

Who will have access to certain UNI ticket report? Any GO, or it will be fowarded only to certain UNI GO?

As example, if guy from UNI 666 will need recs support permission , will this msg come to both 666 UNI GOs (their SGO? GA?), or "whoever will be near" hands? Will we get reply, so that we will know who deal with our matter in case of any "complications" or further conversation need?

I can't disagree with that, absolutely true. Especially since being a Staff member is on voluntery base, meaning a GO in this case wont be around each day or all parts of the day.
