Dark Matter has recently been installed into ogame.org universes, and there have been numerous threads asking about Ogame and purchasing it. I thought I'd help to stop it. Onto the FAQ.

What does that mean in simpler terms?

It is a new item similar to what we know as resources in Ogame.


How do I get Dark Matter?

Dark Matter is obtainable by Buying it with real life money.

100,000 Dark Matter Costs 10.99 USD
250,000 Dark Matter Costs 19.95 USD
500,000 Dark Matter Costs 34.95 USD

What can I get with Dark Matter?

With Dark Matter, you can get Commander, and any of the officers.


Where do I see how much Dark Matter I have?

It's up next to all of the resources. It is in between Deuterium and Power.

Can I lose Dark Matter in Raids?

No, Dark Matter is not like a normal resource that is raidable. Not only is it unraidable, but nobody will know that you have it.

What are the Rates at which I may purchase Commander/Officers with Dark Matter?

The Rates are the same for all Commander/Officers

10,000 Dark Matter for One (1) Week of Commander/Officer
100,000 Dark Matter for Three (3) Months of Commander/Officer

Can I buy Commander/Officers without Dark Matter?

You may now no longer purchase any Commander/Officers without Dark Matter. That is why Dark Matter has been installed.

What is the point of Dark Matter then?

In the past, when you would purchase Commander/Officers issues would occasionally occur involving the payment. Thanks to Dark Matter, these issues should now cease.

I want Dark Matter, where do I buy it?

Go into Ogame. On the left hand side, it says "Officers Recruitment."
Click on that. At the top of the screen, it says Purchase Dark Matter. Click on that. It will then forward you into the payment methods and instructions.
