Hey guys..

Well, where to begin.. Arghh..

Its not about profits.. :P get that out first..

Ok, so not to long ago kurgan approached me about a hit. A very big hit indeed.. he had been watching him for a little while so I took up watch and we constructed a plan. Now, this hit was planned on chocy (sadistic_killer).. Now, i knew this time would come when i would have to say to some friends, sorry buddy.. but our road ends here.. your free game for me, im free game for you..

anyway, we moved in without being noticed and sat 1 system out and watched for another 3 days.. When suddenly?! We get a message and chocy didnt take it nicely.. not that i would expect him to, but he wasnt pleased about the whole thing. Anyway, me and kurgan decided to move out upon failing with our little recon mission and i relocated in with some U.F.P.

After that, i became VERY VERY lazy.. Templars picked up on it and i knew they knew.. was getting probes all across the place all times of day.. Them LG apears in my system.. then not to far behind his loyal friend chocy.. Now i knew i had to tighten up security since i had a nice bundle of deut out there and a load of res.. i quickly shiped out the res (as any player would when these guys move in). but i was quickly blamed for being a "panzy". Now i can take that, sure.. i did half $h*4 myself when the moved in, your both good players and have some pretty good hits between you. thats why i moved my res (not my fleet though despite being accused of that - i do have jumpgates you know). Anyway after a heated argument between me and chocy i was called a "noob" and something to do with being a teenager or something.. but unfortunately i cant help being born when i was.. blame my mum.. =/

Now, I would like to think that people dont see me as a noob, I feel i have had my fair share of decent hits.. So I set about probing a few Templars to vent my anger.. came across nothing interesting around me.. So i fleetsaved and went out with my parents to see Happy Feet 2.

Later on i notice no activity on LG or chocy's moons and so I probe see this fleet and nothing from Chocy.. I figure that chocy has fleetsaved for the night so i dont need to worry too much about his recs. and if i hit LG he would have no recs left..

So i launched.. 1.7million deut launch plus 350k for the recs.. THEN.. activity.. =/ so i probe the planet see a large number of resources.. So i pull my fleet out and it returns home.. but i check to see the activity tick over on the planet, and it does.. i scan LG again and its still there so I launch yet again.. and here we have it..

would like to finish off with a few things.. LG sir, i wish you the biggest and best rebuild you can do.

you didnt really deserve this for chocy's words.. but i had to protect my fleet and I can achieve that my taking you out. chocy cant solo my whole fleet so with most of your fleet out it makes his job harder..

Chocy my friend.. sorry that it came to this, but there comes a time when you run out of targets, you seemed the easiest at the time and kurgan alerted me to it.. i hope you dont actually hate me for it.. i dont hate you. :P

Kurgan, you buddy are one of the best fleeters i have played alongside.

and to Republic, you guys are what have kept me playing here, and kept me from deleting my account with the arrival of V3.0.

and to Capella, this is BY FAR, the best Uni i have played in.. thanks for making this such a special Uni..

dammit mini when i said i wanted to reorganise the ships in my fleet i didn't mean like this!!!!

well what can i say, the reason why my dessies and bcs aren't in that hof are because they were sitting on another moon that i had been doing some hits from yesterday and STUPIDLY it didn't occur to me that those ships i left on that moon made the rest of my fleet possible for mini to hit :blackeye:

damn ballsy of him and i like how he did it regardless of the profit that shows guts and it makes the hit cooler too :vain:

i came on not long after so atm am constantly sending the 1k recs i have remaining back and forth back and forth to that huge df to harvest it

I guess some people would be more bothered than me at this loss but thankfully I have a calm jovial disposition so I'll recover and do my best to keep this uni ticking :beer:

Awesome hit, and although the massive loses on both sides, you also still have more than enough to continue and will be back in no time i bet. Cause you both are still one of the few's that bring some activity in the boards also, so i thk we all hope in a few months for you guys to have something more to kill or to 'be killed' anyways.

Gratz on the hit on Mini, Good Luck on the return LG.
Take the chance also to pass happy seasons to everyone, and all in the Rep on Baz behalf, since he is 'out of civilization' for some weeks... but even in there he heard of the new #1 :flexmuscles:

Woah. What an epic hit!! I am impressed at the guts of launching as well as the good sportsmanship displayed by both sides in the wake of such large losses.

i only lost like 3/4 of my LF.. nothing much else.. :P

you will see me ranked 2 again in no time.. already got 500k worth of ships in my shipyard.

but LG is quite a way out..

the DF will give him a pretty quick start on his rebuild though.

Mini, kudos to you on a new number 1, and one that should stay there for a long time. That was a ballsy move. Shame you didn't get more of the df, but lf are easy to build!

LG... Good luck rebuilding, lucky that you still have some nice heavies laying around to help you on your rebuild.

JD keeps me up to date with whats happening in Capella. When he told me about Lord Guillaume and Chocy relocating into your system, my response was 'ARE THEY CRAZY' at best it will be a waste of money, at worst it will eventually mean a serious downsizing of a Templar fleet.

Well, when JD rang me on Xmas day I nearly choked on my turkey... it seems my crystal ball is in full working order

Congratz on the new no1 mini, you deserve it for the amount of commitment you put into Capella and the Republic. As for the DF...who cares at this stage of the game.

GLOTR to you both, you two guys are at the heart of Capella and with the stupid new rules, a vmode from either would just be another nail in capellas coffin.
