I dont have any idea if this is forbidden or are in the wrong place on the forum, but what do you think if we post our accounts [Names / Number / Rank] with no owners and try to find a new players. I am sure that most alliances Uni 1 has accounts without owners and I think we could give them to new players who are interested in entering the UNI 1. For example , yesterday i read the Uni 2 Diplo Area and that uni is very close to death [800 players] and some players are searching a new universe to play and that could help the Uni 1 to continue to enter activity.
However, each alliance would be in charge of managing the accounts to give to new players if they are interested and assume the conditions that each of the partnerships put the new player.
How you know this is just an idea of how to improve our universe and I really hope to find some help to see if we can improve the activity of the universe 1.
I urge you to maintain the thread and avoid personal attacks in this post, I do not want this idea to be closed.
Remember it is just an idea and try all kinds of criticism that is constructive.

Well said, I agree, if others would agree to this sort of thing it would be good for the uni. However, most alliances would probably want the account to stay with them.

Unless you get the person who has the password there is no way to access the accounts. The chances are you'll never track down the holders of the accounts, the majority have just been abandoned .

The fact I agree with skull on something is amazing. I totally agree with this idea, but one problem I see is how to find people you can trust to stay loyal to the alliance and keep the account there. I want to see this uni live on for years to come the personal grudges between people are what make this game fun. If you are getting people you know in RL to join one problem that I found is they play for two weeks loose interest and just quit, but I have also seen good accounts get deleted because there was no one to take them. Lets keep the uni alive and get some new blood in here.

All the info of abandoned accounts, emails ect are on record and held by the GOs. Unfortunately the law on Data Protection stops them using it or giving it out. Even if they wanted to help they couldn't

I have heard rumor of merging Uni 1 and 2. Don't know if there was any truth to it or not but if it happend it would be very interesting. It would allow the good accounts in Uni 2 to be saved and more action in Uni 1 or 2 or whatever they would call it, but that still don't solve the fact of accounts with no owners.

@ Skull did you ever try opening new threads in the other uni's to see if there people that would want to play in uni 1? That might help getting experienced people to join.

Know you guys heart is in the right places...I to want UNV to be more active. I dont think giving players accounts or giving them res is going to be the anwser (thought this will help zombie get fat *looks at Al.inc*)

But the blunt truth of this game is players will lie / cheat to get ahead and or stay ahead.

2-3 months ago a player or grp of player's mass messaged every highend alliance ingame claiming to know or be seeking extra account(s) to get a mate in. 3-4 alliances game him accounts. If you watched those accounts. 8 total I know of. They are all dead a couple in perma time out. Some are still in V mode across big alliances.

Point is your going to end up with spys active or V mode, "stole accounts" , and accounts getting feed pushed or pulled to other accounts.



I maybe abit to blunt with this, I am by far one of the most paranoid players I know. But day in and day out I see accounts un V mode and drop in rank and then re v mode and know of so much shay game play it makes my stomach hurt.


I personally will line my Zombies up and shot them in the head one by one before I let them get feed to a enemy or a friend.

I have fleet accounts in V I sit on until the player gets back or the player gets back? I would rather watch the account delete then get the account stole / spy on it / it stole and feed.

UNV1 Combine with UNV2 = ftw

I beliveve it was me asking for an active account in Uni 1 , I am fairly active and have 1 or 2 Hofs to my name.

I currently use #3rd ranked account in Uni2 but it will be going back to the original owner soon so will be needed another fleeter account in another Uni to add a bit of spice to the game.

I have been looking to get back to Ogame (UNi 1 is what mean). I am looking for an account in uni 1. This idea of giving accounts that are banned is not a bad idea at alll. May be u guys can remove all previous account owners information and then leave the planets and moons techs like it is and give it to new owners.

Good atleast some one remebers me. I thought i come back to uni 1 to get some action and also steal some attention . (looking for an account. Couldnt find one yet )*sry i meant to say the accounts where owners leave their accounts VMode and do not come(i lost mine like tht) back . Basically the accounts that are left without being used{VM mode or inactive ones} ,ones without any owners can be given to people who want to play . *

ok so a few questions:

1- Can the GO's or GA's send emails out to the players who used to play? Therefore getting the yes its ok or no I plan on coming back in a few months?

2- According to the Data Protection Act "Personal information may be kept for no longer than is necessary and must be kept up to date." and "Data may only be used for the specific purposes for which it was collected." First of all why is the email needed? and secondly if the player himself doesnt play no more then the account's personal information is no longer needed. So can we not email the player first find out and then change the email to a fake email? or give the email to something a player made up that GO's only have access to... i.e Gameop01@gmail.com (fake email btw)?

I'm interested in this as well... I've watched some pretty big accounts sit in vmode for months on months and they get deleted when a perfectly good player could take this account over and it never happens...

There as always loop holes... I would like to see if someone could help me out on that topic...
